The programme aims to contribute to the development of frameworks of cooperation in the Middle East as a means of overcoming the fragmented realities and providing new processes for the region. We are active in the field of “private diplomacy” and Second Track Diplomacy efforts aimed at building trust and restoring confidence between parties, as well as developing options and bridging proposals for policy-makers and negotiators. We also pursue the publication and dissemination of reports, and articles intended to influence in a positive manner the official decision-making process.

CITpax believes that civil society can and should play a pivotal role in the processes of state- and peace-building in the region and we work with many partners in the region with that goal in mind.
