CITpax believes that civil society can and should play a pivotal role in the processes of state and peace-building in the region. Projects have focused on developing local expertise and capacity building in conflict prevention and resolution techniques.

Past activities have focused on the case of Iraq and the need to provide local civil society with the necessary tools to overcome the existing cycle of violence. “Train the Trainers” and other exercises aimed at empowering local communities and foster their active involvement in state-building are the main tools.

Projects and activities include
