CITpax has initiated this theme with the aim of analysing and helping the process of peace-building and good governance in Afghanistan. Specific objectives include the analysis and strengthening of the international community’s contribution, particularly that of NATO, the EU and the UN, to essential reforms of the country’s police, judicial system and government. Likewise, the Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRT) created by different countries in Afghanistan are studied within the framework of the international operation led by NATO.
